Position Summary

As the Warehouse Logistics Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of inventory throughout our warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating outbound orders, and working with freight carriers and shipping partners to ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy and efficiency are essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies
  • Accurately receive inventory into our inventory management system and maintain organized warehouse records
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer, retail, and internal transfer orders for shipment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with freight carriers, parcel services, and other transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Schedule freight pickups and communicate with shipping vendors regarding deliveries, tracking information, and shipment issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
  • Organize warehouse inventory to maximize efficiency, accessibility, and safety
  • Utilize company software to process inventory transactions and shipment documentation
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries safely using proper equipment and procedures
  • Work closely with purchasing, retail, service, and operations teams to ensure inventory availability and order accuracy
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, inventory control, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
  • Experience with inventory management or ERP software; Odoo experience is a plus
  • Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers and parcel shipping providers is preferred
  • Strong computer skills and comfortable learning new software systems
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Required
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process inventory and shipping documentation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to lift between 30-60 lbs, including bending, lifting, carrying, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus
  • Demonstrated record of punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with ponds, aquariums, aquatic products, or fish is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record - Required
  • Available for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods - Required


Position Salary

  • Full-Time    |   $20.00 - $24.00/ hour  *depending on experience*
